3 Bullsh*t Things Doctors Tell People: Surgery, It's Normal to Pee Yourself, Stop Moving Your Injury

Let me start off by saying, what's up fellow "butthole breathers" - yeah, that's what I'm calling you! Let's have some real talk.

Here's the scoop: doctors are usually cool, calm, and collected. But guess what? Let me just admit that I'm a ball of anxiety most of the time. I look like I've got it all together, but I'm just like, "Nah, that's not me."



But let's get down to business about the things that really make me irritated when doctors tell people who come into my practice. I've been called an industry disruptor, and I embrace it. We do things a little differently at my clinic. We care about finding the root cause of problems. You know, not just rushing through it?

These are the three things that drive me crazy. First, doctors push surgery without a proper exam or imaging - they don't even touch you! Seriously, that's bullshit. How do they know what is occurring without touching you and running tests? The knife should not be your go-to in finding the root of your pain. That is unless it's an emergency.

Second, doctors tell people to stop running or squatting when knee pain occurs. Whoa, what's up with that? How are you supposed to do everyday stuff like sit on a toilet to poop or get into a car without squatting? It's crazy. Our bodies need to move, but the mechanics might need tweaking

Lastly, I hate the idea that it's normal to pee yourself as you get older. I'm not buying it. Just because something is common doesn't mean it's normal. We need to work on those pelvic floor muscles, not just slap on a diaper. It's not normal to pee yourself!
