You're Overlooking this Piece of the Puzzle in your Chronic Pain Recovery: Scar Tissue

Updated: Jun 20, 2023

If you've ever suffered an injury or chronic pain, you know how detrimental it can be. Even when you take steps to improve your symptoms, you still feel like something's missing. You might not be addressing the root cause of the issue: scar tissues.

There are times when we know how we got scar tissue, and other times when we don't. If you don't treat scar tissue, your recovery might stall and you'll still feel pain. There was a patient I saw after surgery who was 90% recovered after working hard to get better. After treating the scar tissue, she reached 100% in a few weeks.

Scar work isn't the only thing you need to deal with. Working with the issue can bring up old emotions if there's trauma attached to the injury. You can breathe, move, and relax while recovering from your injuries. No matter what kind of scar you have, you can heal.

Getting results from working with the tissue doesn't have to take long. It only takes a few minutes a day to change the tissue. The best way I do this is through breathwork, massage, and movement. Yes, this is the time I remind you to breathe in your butthole.

Think of this three-part audio series as a mini daily treatment for healing and preventing pain/injury. When you incorporate proper breathing mechanics and muscle cueing for just a few minutes a day, your brain will relax the neurological tension and spasm and allow the relief to flow. It's a method I use in my practice, and I'm thrilled to share it with you.
